I'll put it out there. Is he alright or not?

Now, before I get battered on here - I love our Blues - sometimes more than them at times I reckon. And I've had more bother and rows about paving slabs, Scandinavian fans, winning a game on penalties doesn't really count etc than anyone could be bothered to referee.

But, I met young Redknapp one night in town, many years ago and talked togger and just seen him again on Sky Fantasy Football. I reckon he is a good bloke, understands our city and to my knowledge never been disrespectable to our team.

What do you reckon? Is he like a Suarez cheating diving racist cheating rascal or a two footed Slippy G or is he alright? Any views?

A lad I used to work with drank in the Coach and Horses in Greasby.

When Jamie first signed for the RS, he lived above the pub for a while, as the licensee was an ex Scottish pro and knew Hawwy, so he put him up in the pub. By all amounts he was sound and drank with all the locals.

Anyone who gets to sleep with Louise every night must be doing something right

I use a play footie with him each week , as a teenager on Bournemouth. Two aside, jumpers for goalposts. Me and a mate against him and his older brother. After playing against these lads for a few months, and the teams got bigger and turned into better games, this lad Jamie said to me and my mate that we should go for trials at Bournemouth . We were a bit surprised at the comment, and it was then that he told his dad was the manager. Yeah right! Didn't believe that, until a few years later when this same kid, a 16 year old Jamie Redknapp, came on as a sub on a televised FA cup game v Man U.

Jaw hit the floor.
