Can't believe this.....what a slap in the face for Rhys's parents to see this piece of scum back on the streets again. He'll be back to his old ways and regarded as a "hero" by his fellow scum gang mates - all supposed "hard men " when they have guns or knives but cowards on their own. Words just fail me - these people need to be locked away to do their full sentence. Sorry but hope someone has a quiet word with him in a dark alley

5 years for handling a illegal firearm, and death by proxy of a child.

The laws in this country reflect the priority of its lawmakers and politicians, they are there to protect profit and property. If this bell had supplied a firearm involved in a robbery he would have got longer.
The people and protecting the innocent are of no concern to those in power, never have, never will.

It's actually rare that a sentence reflects a crime over here, unless you do something really horrendous like avoid paying council tax.

Anyone involved in supplying a firearm which leads to the death of somebody should face a mandatory life sentence IMO, but it'll never happen.

Drug offences seem to get massively disproportionate sentences. Well that depends on your view on drugs I guess, but compared with other sentences they always seem out of line.
