Just seen on the BBC's gossip page that Norwich are offering Canaries' striker James Vaughan, 23, to Birmingham to help land central defender Curtis Davies, 27.
Maybe the grass is not always greener!

Grass greener ???!!! He just left as he never played for us.....and some people struggle with this, but he was not an Everton fan !!!

He is from the Midlands, so that would be a good move for him.

James Vaughan was a good player, he looked the real deal when he broke through. The problem is the lad will never string a full season together, his injuries have always affected his career and, unfortunatley for him and us, his devleopment. IMO we could have had a real gem on our hands

The Guardian were quoted that the price was £2.5m.

I dunno if Vaughan was ever "destined" for the lower leagues. He has had a horror run with injuries that means his career has never reflected his ability.

Always felt sorry for this kid, the injuries he had, but he did play like a bit of a nutter.
