Football is a mans game. Snide happens and always has and is expected. Football is more diluted now and the physicality, sadly, is being taken away (apart from corners when it is a free for all). The assault you talk about would have just caused a good old battle in the very near past. Lets hope it is still a mans game in 5-10 years time. Lets hope the grocks are not put out to pasture just yet

Much as I like Tarks as an old fashioned type defender, him and Keane must be the slowest centre backs in the league. To be fair, we could really do with some pace in the team generally. Who would be out fastest player from yesterday? Garner maybe? Dunno, we're a bunch of slugs really. Slowest team in the league?
We’ve lacked a proper snide for a while, now we’ve got one in Tarks and I love it. The only thing I would say is that we should stop whinging when another teams snide does it to us.
