Its looking more likely that Jags will still be an everton player on Thursday - dont get me wrong, I'm a fan of his and wouldn't want to see him leave in normal circumstances but these aren't normal circumstances and i reckon a £15M plus fee to buy on a much needed striker would have been worth the sacrifice especially considering we are well covered at centre half with johnny, distin, yobo, rodders, duffy, hibbo, nev if needed. I'd be disappointed if the transfer window closes with no additions to help the lads up front

Why do people think players cant be arsed trying their best if they are getting payed and guaranteed to get into the team? They are footballers, its the path they chose in life, to be perfectly honest, i think Jagielka tries his best every game, some games he makes a mistake - and that lack of confidence can last a few matches...thats all it is
