Speaking following Evertons 2-2 draw with Standard Liege, Phil Jagielka spoke of his frustration of conceding two goals at home, while also admitting to being relieved that he has now returned to centre back after a stint in midfield.

"It was a little bit frustrating to concede two goals at home, but to come back twice and score the two goals means we are level pegging going into the second game"

"We have had to show that a little bit too often in recent games. We are not too happy with the way we have been conceding but thankfully we have been scoring enough to keep us in the games.

"I think there have been a few chops and changes so hopefully we can iron out the mistakes and start keeping a few clean sheets.
"They played on the counter and the goals they got gave them confidence. We go there knowing that if we win the game we are through."
