Well I remember he seemed pretty disappointed a move to Arsenal didn't pan out, he mentioned something like "of course it will affect your form." Well, It shouldn't, we pay great money for that very thing, Barkley is linked every week and it never affects him. My main bugbear is the way he says "we are just hanging on to the coat tails of the teams above us right now." I know people won't see anything wrong with that, but it is such a Moyes' thing to say. It is really small minded, and we wonder why we bottle any game we have, that has pressure riding on it.

Having said all that, his goal v Liverpool was otherwordly.

Fair enough mate.transfer speculation usually does affect most players. I thought it made baines start last season poorly.anyway back to Jagielka. I can't remember howard having to make many saves lately cos we've been defending that well
