Mori for the time being. We are a little starved for goals right now and he gives us an extra threat upfront and then pray that when he makes his 1-2 brain dead mistakes that we don't get punished for it.

Thirty four isn't old for a central defender. But hey, don't let that get in the way of your vendetta against Jagielka.

34 is not old for a world-class, technically gifted centre back. Jags is not, sadly, in that category.

He's been a loyal and reliable player for a long time, but his peak has been and gone. Now his pace is starting to go, and it was always his pace that helped make up for his deficiencies in positioning and aerial play. You can accuse me of a vendetta, but in return I would simply suggest that your nostalgia is making you blind to the obvious - age catches up with everyone at some point. He's given away more penalties in the prem than any other player this season and needs to come off the firing line for a little while - Koeman appears to think this, at least.

Ultimately, I want to see Everton field the strongest eleven possible at the moment, in order to pick up some points... Jags isn't in that strongest eleven at this point in time.

Thing with Jags, is when he has been injured it always takes him time to get back into his stride. I'd leave Mori in for now, but dont write Jags off
