For some reason my Mac disc utility [Poor language removed] up, I had to download Lion XO and completely reboot it to make it work!
Now my Mac is back to factory settings - is there ANYWAY of me just getting all my music back?

No. Unless you use a regular backup or time machine.

Pull the hard drive, give it to a true computer 'enthusiast' and see what they can do.

Good chance a large portion is still there, as I doubt you have overwritten most of it or ran a data destruction program. Its just figuring out a way of extracting it.

I am not familiar with the Mac file structure, but have a gander at this:

drop down to the 'undelete files' section. There are a couple of recommended programs there that MAY be of help.

If you have it all on an ipod or something download a programme which allows to to put it back on Mac, best to get a cracked paid for programme off a torrent as work much better.

I'm very surprised you didn't back it up somehow..
