Following Evertons impressive victory over Manchester City, manager David Moyes declared "it's been coming"
Everton thoroughly outplayed their opponents, coming away with a 2-0 win with goals from Steven Pienaar and Louis Saha.
Moyes: "I've got to say I think it's been coming,"
"I think we've been playing really well but maybe not scoring or keeping a clean sheet to win the games.
"But our performances have been rising week in week out so it's getting more like I was hoping we'd be playing like.
"We've started to get one or two players back and more importantly we've gained a bit of confidence.
"It's been a slow start to the season, I think the injuries are the biggest part, we've just not had enough players, and we still don't.
"You just have to look at our bench today and say that there's not a senior player on there at all.
"And then you look at their bench and it's full of international players.
"So we've still got to get half a dozen players back from injury so that if it isn't going quite as well as we would like then we can do something about it."
