I'm a filthy student living in Manchester but I used to have a purple bin, honest.

Inherited blue blood from the fambo and it will remain a deep-seated psychological complex/ excellent.

Favourite everton player is undoubtedly the kangaroo, for my era - but my favourite past time is laughing at Hibbert the pro-footballing enigma.

Pineapple is sound on a pizza coupled with a bit of ham (at a family gathering when you're still young enough for the kid's table).

Unlike most people on here I am not a fetishist regarding pizzas and fruit. Give me a hot home-made jumbo sausage roll any day of the year, including leap years, with a dollop of quince or rowan jelly on the side.

Kid's table sounds about right for the PoP brigade. If you've lurking, you know how highly Manchester is rated in these parts. Still, last week's game was the most fun I've had watching footie this year. Perhaps you can help us with that Putin/Hibbert enigma thing.

Hibbo is a much better angler than V. V. Putin, for one.

What's tha? I did take great pleasure and go out of my way to fist pump the air in each and everyone of their wounded faces...

I heard Hibbo has better war scars under his shinnies as well. And the way Hibbo has people in his back pocket is allegorical to Putin's hold on the Russian media.

@mezzrow you kinda need to pipe down on greasy pineapple mate.

For me that's the joy of a Hawaiian slice...it's the far less greasy than say pepperoni...or a meat lover's. Ham/Pineapple has far less. I could get all factual here, but I reckon you already know I'm speaking truthiness here.

Oh...and welcome to the new guy. Take some time to have a sense of humor. The best lids here take and post everything a grain of salt in mind. I've literally been brought to tear with laughter here...some top comedians roaming about.
