David Moyes has hailed Tim Howards injury-time penalty save in Sunday's 2-2 with Tottenham as "vital"

"It was a vital save and it was important because I think the players had worked incredibly hard, stuck at it, never gave in and we tried to get something out of it," he said. "Because of that we earned a bit of good fortune when the penalty came around."

Moyes also had high praise for inexperienced right back Seamus Coleman, who played a key role in both of Evertons goals.

"He [Coleman] was fantastic today, he played really, really well. He went forward and he really made a difference for us at times."

Does anyone else get irritated when everyone except us seems to be saying Defoe missed a penalty. Shot was on target and Tim Howard saved it. I do wish they would credt the keeper rather than blame the penalty taker.

Well done Tim, rant over.
