True, but then he wasn’t here long enough to see how he would have done over the longer term. And signing a bunch of Barcelona cast-offs is not necessarily a good thing. I do not want us to become a glorified feeder/development side for Barcelona.
 

..... If ever their was a demonstration of the complete bias of the media towards the top six; here in New Zealand there was not a peep about Sigurdsson's goal on the news on Sunday. Granted, football play's a distinct second fiddle behind rugby, cricket and league in this country, but if that had been Hazard/Pogba/Firmino/Kane/Silva scoring that, no doubt it would have been shown. Even so, there were highlights of the Man U v Newcastle and Spurs v Cardiff of the games played on Saturday; but nothing about what was without a doubt the goal of the day.
