Is your job only as good as your Manager?

A good manager makes a difference. However, generally an organization is the people who populate it. And a bad all round organizational philosophy can make a job really suck balls.

Yep, I am left to do my job, therefore my job is easy and stress free.

i work in a blokes shed now and its as peaceful as can be! he pops in every now and then and i'll do some joinery work in his house every now and then!

managers are the people who should have been refs but couldnt be arsed from my experience!

In a way Bry', I get left to do my own work. But when I get there, all hell breaks loose and you wouldn't believe how piss poor my employer is at organising the most obvious things, considering they are a massive worldwide corporation.

Move on mate, although in the current climate gritting your teeth and bearing it may be all you can do.

You're right mate.

I had a nice desk job and used to spend my days browsing GOT and talking to my old mate Alio. I felt like i wanted to get out there and prove myself, so went for an internal vacancy and got the job. More money, car etc, and the youngest to be doing what i was doing in the company by about 10 years.

I've smashed it for about a year and a half, bring loads to the job that others can't do, but get paid the least and am on a bloody contract.

Fozzys shed sounds bloody boss right about now.
