Is this the right time for people to stop giving their money to Everton ?

After the Arteta news, and the fact that yet again we spent nothing in the transfer window, many of my Everton supporting friends have gone into meltdown. Some of them are saying they are going to get a refund on their season tickets, or that they'll never go to another away game until Kenwright is out.

The question for me is, where do we draw the line between supporting the team, and refusing to give hard earned cash to an operation which is being so poorly managed by a bunch of tits ?

I personally wouldn't even think of giving up my season ticket, and not just because it's a lovely seat. I go to the games to support the players on the pitch, not based on the financial situation of the club as a whole. I'd be interested to see how other people see it.

EDIT: Changed title to better reflect the discussion being had.

The thing that annoys me about a lot of the "Kenwright out" people is that they never follow it up with a "_____ in".

Pointing out the problem is useless if you can't also point out a solution. And not going to the game is not the solution. It's just going to damage our already poor finances further.

Upsetting as it is to see us getting left behind there is no point intearing up season tickets, boycotting etc. All that does is weaken the team even further.

We love the club. End of.

In the end I am an Evertonian and will never turn away from the club. Muppets may be running it and at times muppets have worn the shirt, but I still love the club.

I wont be walking away.

I like my seat and on Match Days I put my deep hatred of Kenwrong firmly away and support the 11 players on the pitch and David Moyes in the dugout.

Non Match Days, well its different.

I agree with the above.

Nice to see that some of the most prevalent posters on here feel the same way, board and team should be separate on match day. I do hope however, that we do not have a protest before the Villa game, it's the last thing the two new lads would need. Then again, i don't suppose Moyes will play either of them for more than 10 minutes.

That's it. Some of you may think that it's easy for me to say as I don't even get to the match. The fact is, I never had a season ticket in my life. But I'll never walk away from supporting the team. If I lived in England, I'd go to as many matches as I could reasonably afford. It's hard to imagine a time in the future when we bring back the glory days. But that won't stop me being a blue. A far off, armchair fan for the time being but a fan all the same.

If moyes is still manager and we haven't improved our football i will not be renewing my season ticket. will still look for the result but will not pay hundreds of pounds to be bored and wound up.

the doom and gloom merchants are wrong. the only motto to live by is DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE. The bank needed a loan repayment from what i know, so we paid up, nothing wrong with that. stoke and all the other no-mark teams are borrowing heavily at the moment so it seems to suggest we should do that too, but that would be irresponsible. we dont have billionaire backers so why do our fans scream for living beyond our means- crazies. us supporters should concentrate ourselves with whats going on on on the pitch

i never walked away when we were relegation fodder before moysie, i never walked away when the heart was ripped out of the team after Hysel, i stayed strong during the Johnson years, i continued to believe despite the constant success of the dark side and the daily stick off their retarded followers, i stood proud atop the lions of st George's hall after 85 while the crowds stretched as far as i could see and cried with joy in rotterdam cos i KNEW we were the best. I have done all of this and more cos I'm an Evertonian....I WILL NEVER WALK AWAY.
