is this laptop any good?

i aint got a clue but need to know as my daughter wants one for crimbo! though it looks ok but i cant find any reviews for it anyware. and the fact the the name changes half way through the details page has just confused me (ok i know thats not hard to do)! so was wondering if any of you techie types would fill me in! cheers!

I'm not too clued up on its processor, but the rest of the specs are fairly sound to be honest.


I wish my first computer had been half that powerful :P

haha yeah defo my 1st one was no where near that and it was over triple the price! oh the windows 95 days and a 1gb hard disk defo dont miss them!

My plight wasn't quite as bad. Windows 98 and truth be told a good size HD for the time, at about 100 GB. Then again I was that young all I ever did was piss around in paint, so who cares.

Although, and I know it goes without saying, make sure you get some decent protection for it.
 
That is a decent machine. It is a little worrying though, that the model changes half way through the description. And, yes it is good it comes with the 64-bit version of Windows (taking full advantage of the 64-bit processor).
