Without wanting to reopen all the well rehearsed arguments post Terry/Suarez/Clattenburg/Serbia, I cant help feeling that some people are starting to look for reasons to sling accusations around now. Maybe for their own ego or benefit, or maybe because they really are offended by Spurs fans. Somehow I doubt it, and I sense a band wagon of "ambulance chasing" lawyers looking for business now.

Might be wrong, but as always, GOT thoughts are most welcome.

the whole country is racist, a few months ago a guy at work said how stupid terry was and how he hates racists,
2 months later his daughter came home with a practicing muslim and he beat the crap out of him and chucked his daughter out of his house, currently serving 12 months for ABH

lets not pretend no one here has ever laughed at a racist joke, ever since the suarez case, every small detail is now questioned.

even harry redknapp came out and said this was some of the worst cases of racism he has seen, seriosuly????????? this guy played and managed clubs in the 60's 70's and 80's.

All that proves is you work with some absolute divvies.

The point being asked was if some people now seem to see anything as fair game to call "racist" and then seem to earn a few quid out of it, have things gone too far?

I think this particular case is really stupid and won't go anywhere. But there's been some really stupid alegations of murder. That doesn't mean we've gone too far in hunting down murderers, it just means that particular case has no merit. Like this one doesn't.

I agree mate, it looks like a sick joke, and that is the whole point I was making. It isnt some idiot fan trying to stir it, or someone saying they were really offended, but a lawyer bringing up something that no one I know, or it seems on here, would give a second thought to. Hence, "ambulance chaser"......
