Is it really competitive at the top end, only five teams have won it. Blackburn are the only team to buck the trend.

What would it mean for the PL to be in decline? And what should the PL look like?

Seems like the league has more balance--top to bottom--than in a long time.

But few teams seem composed enough to do well in either European competition; maybe Chelsea will go far again, and maybe Everton have a chance as well.

In the 70's and 80's players got a "win" bonus and other stuff. No playing for draws in the league, then . Now a player gets his 80k a week whether he plays great or gash.
