That's a good point, but Chelsea, and now City, are without European football to worry about. Either City or the RS could well make a push but they are dependant on Chelsea slipping up and dropping points. It could happen but imo it isn't very likely.

I'm serious. Chelsea have 9 league matches remaining. From looking at them I expect they should be favoured to take all three points from at least 7 of those games. The two exceptions are City, which Chelsea could lose or draw and us (and maybe I'm using my heart not my head in this but on our day we have a chance to upset them.)
It's not the same when top Prem teams can play weak sides in the early rounds, and still manage to reach the semis or the weaker Prem teams do it , and get knocked out by lesser teams in years gone by when we were a top team our manager yer Catt got fined for playing reserves - this rule does not apply now due to the squad system and the change of rules - it devalues it imo!
Sorry but Chelsea have 11 games left to RS's 10 and have 11 points more. If you were a RS I would think that you were deluded. Given that you are a Blue I can only think that you are very deluded.
