We win the last league campaign before WW1 breaks out. We win the last league title before WW2 breaks out. We are denied European Cup football due to Heysel.

Three massive events have probably denied us a few more league titles and possibly European ones as well, with the latter obviously merging into the PL era and all the money filled gashness that this brought with it.

spot on, we were one of the then 'big five' when carter thought we could have a bit of a carve up. we got what we deserved, the others never got 'it' though.

For all the things we think have gone against over the years, the one thing that we could have done we didn't and that was the Kings dock
Paul Gregg saw that with 30 odd games a year a removable playing surface to make it multi use with corporate boxes, car shows, concerts and many other things it would have made everyone money and Everton very competitive.
