38 were not allowed to attend the sunderland game today as they did it to much in other games or whatever, sunderland said they had to be seen sticking to the rules.

People do stand at games when the team is on the attack and it is hard to see the ball. This is most evident in the Gwladys Street End.

However once the chance has been and gone all supporters sit back down. This is seen as acceptable.

Oh when we score we all jump up and down. Thats also acceptable.

It's against statutory ground regulations, I don't think you can be prosecuted for standing up in a football stadium?

Loads of fans ignore the regulations, some clubs try to stop it through banning fans for persistent standing, other clubs don't really give a feck and the fans continue to stand and sing.

Bang on mate. Game dynamic.

Stewards at West Brom a couple of years ago said that you aren't allowed to stand, however if you are singing then they can't do anything. I was having a bit of a laugh with them tbh. and asked if I was humming to myself then would that be ok ?
in the same game 2 coppers parked themselves in the middle of the goal blocking our view of the opposite end (filming the home fans ffs) so I stood, I was told to sit so started singing something along the lines of "get out of our way, get out of our wa-ay" I was told to sit down (by the copper not the steward) and he turned his cam on me. I said I would have it off in seconds and promptly started making a fuss about him "filming my kid" everyone else then joined in as well, he was told to turn it off and then moved away to somewhere else.

Once he'd gone I sat down again.

If I'm at the game and I see someone even threaten to extend their knees from a seated position during play, I go into a blind rage.

Of course, I can't stand up myself, so I cannot express said rage in a physical manner, so I resort to booing Phil Neville instead.
