Is Match of the Day really any good?

I don't mind it, I like Lineker and I don't mind shearer. Can't stand the RS they have on their but I normally sky plus it and watch it Sunday anyway- can fast forward them talking bullshine.

Same here Mick. I dont mind it really. The running order is largely set by what happens on the pitch I guess, but they do tend to have more to say about the bigger clubs.

I don't really see much wrong with them focusing on the bigger clubs as there is often much more to say.

You don't really want to listen to people talking about Norwich 0-0 Hull on a Saturday night, you want replays of Özil.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, Goals on Sunday is far superior. Better guests, better analysis and overall just a better show. Kamara may look like an idiot, but he really does know what he's talking about.

Agree in some ways but it isn't good though. I can remember when they had us on for 30secs exactly and said on twitter 'We aren't allowed to show this game for more than 30seconds'. The guests on that show are better

I just record it and skip through to the goals. I'm not too bothered about the other teams and I can get a better idea of how we've done on GOT

Something to do with BT Sport, hence why they could only show 30secs, not really their fault.
