Is Lance a Cheat?

Hard to believe that he won as often and convincingly as he did in an era of heavy doping?

Obviously this will have massive ramifications for him and for those who done it clean, but, I'd like to see sleeping dogs left to lie as the man is an inspiration to many fighting a terrible disease.

His foundation will be ruined and the good work it does will suffer.

I believe that the integrity of sport should be maintained but there's so much more riding on this than the usual Chambers type case.

Well everybody knew he was no good. Even the aids he had was doping related if I remember correctly. A bad apple like all those cyclists.

No way can you ignore the fact cause of his illnesses. He is a cheat and he should be stripped of everything.

I think its a joke and im somebody who doesnt even like Armstrong or Cycling.

The facts are, he passed tests for Years and Years.

So he should be considered "clean", who even knows if he was.

He is not fighting the case because he knows the evidence that will come out will prove to the whole world he is a cheat. It's easier for him not to fight the case but still maintain his innocence. If he was innocent he would fight to prove it. Says it all really. Cheat. Simple.

The other thing is I believe they were all at it at that time so who will they give the titles to?

The only thing they can do is expunge at least 7 years of results as no contests. What will that say to the world when Cycling has worked hard to regain it's image? I can't see the authorities of Cycling not getting involved here.

The evidence is all ther for people who want to look. That is the problem though, people dont want to believe he is a cheat because it is such a great story. Scratch away at the surface a bit and you will see that Armstrong is a nasty piece of work. The evidence against him is staggering really throughout his career I dont know how anyone can claim he never doped. Please dont say he never tested positive because neither did Marion Jones, Jan Ullrich, Bjarne Riis etc etc

Loads of people have came out and said they have seen him do it and now USADA have at least TEN team mates incriminating him, including Hincapie someone Lance called a "brother to him". Incidentally Hincapie never tested positive either.
Also, take a look at Armstrongs "99 test results which he passed. In 2004 a test was finally developed for EPO, "99 samples were tested and Armstrongs samples were chocker with EPO. Armstrongs response? They were tampered with. An incredible accusation, as libellous as it is ridiculous as all the samples were not labelled with names but with numbers.

It's not quite the entire story. There is his foundation which is non-profit and there is livestrong.com which is for-profit. I'm not sure it makes it any better, but there it is. He's basically using his non-profit foundation to generate profits for his other venture.

It's fairly damning but so is the fact a doping agency has gone to the lengths it has to incriminate a man who bar a swansong retired a long time ago.
