Not for the amounts that were discussed in that article.

He is our best defender I reckon. I wouldnt let him go unless I had too.

It's the daily mail , i'l guess no , couple this with the Peter Crouch rumor and the journo's have had an incredible day for jarg even for their high standards .

They must have two hats. One with players names in it and the other with prices. Before the write an article they pick a player and a price out of the hats and thats what they roll with.

Why would you want to cash in on our best defender, who's at his peak, has played in a World Cup final ......... for, judging by that report ...... a stupidly low fee?

Distin and Jags are getting older, the only way I'd let Heigtinga go was if it was for stupid money.

Meh!
Which Everton/Holland team have you been watching then? ..and on that basis I doubt many other than the russians or the turks would be daft enough to pay stupid money for him.

Selling Yobo for £2.5m so we're meant to cash in on Johnny as well?? Don't think so, last few months he has been our best defender, he loves the Glwadys and the Gwladys loves him!!!

So nope from me.

How long is left on his deal though ? Maybe 2 years if he doesn't want to start negotiating then we probably need to look at our options otherwise we could find ourselves in another Pienaar situation

One of the last guys I'd expect to go, be stupid to cash in now after being part of a embarrassing backline for holland for the world to see, you wouldn't get the most you could for him now.

Besides hes been saying all the right things, I can't think a team that realisticly could see this happening with, certainly not anyone of the russian leagues. Hes in his prime he wants to be in the big leagues.
