Couldn't care less, tbh. No-one over here will ever watch their league, and as you say, if they chase the filthy lucre, good luck to them, but they won't be missed.

A lot of players won't want to move to China or learn the language and culture.

Look at Ibrahimovic - he was offered a ludicrous final pay packet by some Chinese club but still opted for less wages at Man Utd.

The PL will always have a bigger pull.

It all depends on who the next Chinese Premier is and what he likes. The current one is a big football fan and hence the rush to buy up teams around the world and attract stars from around the globe.

If the next in doesn't like football then the game will be up as the middle and upper class try to imitate and gain influence with the political elite.

Aren't they paying him about £500k a week? There are people living on this planet that think Wayne Rooney would turn down that sort of offer to go there in favour of a move to Everton hahahaha
