Darth Toffeeman
Player Valuation: £40m
I think this January window was hugly significant in where the club wants/expects to be.
The most important thing is that Bill Kenwright owns it and will keep hold of it at any cost. I still cannot believe that we allowed the opportunity of the Kings Dock to slip by and we also sold Rooney that summer. If he could survive that (and the mis-truths of Kirkby) he will happily carry on should Moyes and Fellaini call time on Everton.
We are the only mainstay premiership side to have recieved no investment and we are told there are no buyers or people willing to inject revenue? look at the money QPR have thrown away recently and imagine what Moyes could have done with it. Is their ground better than ours? But we don't want to do a Portsmouth -- *bulls**t
The greatest stunt the board have done though is make the next generation of fans accept mediocraty and plucky underdogs tag. The Everton I grew up with was all conquering with a state of the art stadium. How have we allowed this to happen?
Always remember too that BK is an actor. He played a staunch Liverpool fan in the liverbirds (I couldn't do that for any amount of money) and convincingly too.
This next 12 months or so are critical and should Moyes et al leave the fans really must rise up and rid the club of those who will see it fall to it's knees.
