Is honesty the best policy?

Hmmmmm I used to think that honesty was the best policy then I had complaints from parents when I told the truth about their kids.
 

I'm not smart enough to maintain multiple realities to fortify a variety of narratives that may not agree.

It's a fool's game. Before you do something, ask yourself if you're going to have to lie about it to someone. If so, don't do it.

Beyond that, don't be Colonel Jessup. Tell the truth early, and suffer the consequences whether they can handle it or not. That was the whole point. Three people can keep a secret only if two are dead.

It is what it is, not what we want it to be. I'm kind of hard headed about this.
