They did show it.. he got up, limped a bit, made a few passes, ran a bit more, and then got subbed..
He was substituted after 70 odd minutes because he hasn't played a game in three months. You're drawing a connection between two things when there isn't one.
He ran off perfectly fine, Jesus we even have people who pretend to go the game
