It will certainly be an interesting time. I personally can't see how France can grow when the state currently spends more than 50% of GDP there. They haven't balanced their books for decades and Sarkozy was initially elected to sort all that out. That he didn't have the guts to follow his own mandate is another thing, but it's hard to see how socialism can ever create growth, as you actually have to make things in order to grow, not just redistribute the wealth other folks have created.[/QUOTE]Yeah unlike the right wing government here in Spain who are going to bail out Bankia with public money after it was run into the ground by one of their members and former minister under Aznar. As I've said many times, I don't think the banks should have been bailed out. I don't think any business should be bailed out. If they screw up they deserve to go out of business.
