But in the first few pages of rio's first autobiography "Rio" , he clearly says he can hold a conversation on any topic with any person, even top politicians. So there. Sign him up.

Just ignore everything else in the book, including his continual referral to women as "birds "

Tbf, mate, you've just admitted to having read rio ferdinand's first autobiography "Rio", so there's really no winners here.

I dont think I have ever read a footballers biography. A few manager ones, but not a player. I dont think.

I've read a few, but yeah managers tend to be the better ones. Prefer biographies to autobiographies too, on the whole. Though Dave Jones' autobiography is suprisingly good, has some interesting things to say about why that Gordon Lee team never managed to win a trophy.

I got Ferguson's memoirs bought for me as a christmas present by a well meaning relative who knew I liked football. Haven't so much as opened the first page, like.

So there is a story to that. I HATE Rio ferdinand. He's the most over-rated player I've ever seen. Anyway, after years of my mates putting up with me shouting at the TV every time he's on, my mate bought me the book as a joke. I read the intro and couldn't believe how funny in a bad way it was. So I read it in about 3 days (it wasnt hard). Seriously, people should read it. Him and Lampard taking "birds" down to the beach and all business about the missed drugs test....
