Verbal Kint
Player Valuation: £35m
Hello my fellow Evertonians, i have been an avid watcher or a "voyeur" if quoting Jose Mourinho of Grand Old team for about 4 years, i haven't posted due to me forgetting email addresses and passwords so this morning i decided to finally do something about it. If truth be told i have regularly posted on another site but let's just say the moderator didn't take too kindly to me calling out a fellow blue for saying Roberto Martinez should be sacked
I have supported Everton going on 30 years and my passion for the club is continuously growing, i like to make it over at least once a year from Ireland but it's has become more difficult as i usually work Saturday and Sunday mornings and everytime i plan a journey Sky usually change the fixture leaving me out of pocket
My most memorable moment supporting the blues was our fa cup final victory in 1995, hard to believe it will be 20 years since our last major trophy. My favourite ex Everton player is a toss up between Duncan Ferguson and Tony Cottee, my current favourite player is Seamus Coleman for the simple reason he grew up not far from me. I take great delight in watching a nice young generous lad playing for the team i have supported all my life and doing it in style, not many better fullbacks in the game today in my opinion.
As for the current season, I am delighted in how Roberto Martinez and the team have done in his first season.I will be first to admit i had my reservations about him when the appointment was made but compared to our former manager he has been a breath of fresh air. In saying that i wouldn't criticize David Moyes for the job he done at Everton, any manager that worked on a shoe string budget for so long deserves respect it is just the manner he left the club that irked me and many fellow Evertonians.
So thats enough rambling from me, I look forward to contributing as best i can in the future.
Nil Satis Nisi Optimum
P.s I wouldn't be a massive fan of the current board and how they have sold our club short down through the years, but that is for another day.. Coyb
