I just thought this friendly deserved it's own thread. I see England v Scotland has one.
Scotland spanked us good they played better football and we couldn't handle there closing down. I expected better under O'neil.
I dono how Ireland will fare against such a big footballing nation, the USA. With big money institutes like La Galaxy and New York Blue Cows, We are terrified if truth be known. The MLS attracts stars like Beckham and and Cahill while the FAI players are on on social welfare. We will give it our best shot against this millionaire air footballing empire.

Stop with the reality. It's too far from the next World Cup for me to think objectively. By then my patriotism will be in a fervor, so I'll be ok.

What's the lineup? I like that the "kids" are getting a chance to play, but I'm not familiar with most of them. Garza looks decent and will likely feature in future matches, but of the players on the roster I don't see any first team regulars outside of Bedoya, Diskerud, and Altidore.
