Needs a new IPTV provider if anyone can recommend me one?
superior-hosting.co.uk I have had them for near enough 2 years and they are very good. I had a trial with someone else beforehand and they were poor but haven't had any complaints with these lads. The package is really good for £10 per month. Any further questions just ask

Ive got an iptv box, do i need to set up a VPN these days?

I'm friends with a very dodgy guy on FB that sorts out my IPTV for me. I think I paid £40 for 12 months. I just give him the mac number of my smart TV and he gets it activated. Ive had it about 9 months and it's worked perfectly.

You dont need a new VPN I got a new one but it slowed the mbps speed down so I took it off I just use my normal one now and the speed is really good. You only need about 10 mbps to run off wifi anyway.

I dont have a VPN at the min and have no idea how to set one up.. i have a summer house where i have power line adaptors giving me 22mps wirless in it, im going to connect my iptv box to it with ethernet but hearing a lot of talk about needing vpn’s these days, but no idea how to set it up! Any help much appreciated.

So to summarise. You buy the box and then buy a seperate subscription to a service provider, (as I said earlier I went with superior hosting).
22 mbps is more than enough especially using an ethernet cable.Setting it up is easy just google how to set up IPTV box up and its all there. There are lots of rumours on getting prosecuted but that will never happen to the end user as you buy a subscription and are therefore not doing anything illegal. However VPN's are used in order to hide your service from the authorities. When you buy the VPN the Company that provides it registers the VPN overseas which gets them round UK streaming laws. As said earlier its all easy to set up just look on you tube there's loads of stuff on it. VPN's can be as little as £5 per month.
