Late in 2009, I learned the hard way just how fragile the iPod Touch is. I took my iPod to a rugby game like i generally do, and kept it in my rugby bag. Unfortunately, there was a little rain that day, and even though it was in a zipped up compartment, my i was never able to use my ipod again after that day.
Fortunately, my credit card company extends the warranty for certain purchases 1 year beyond the manufacturers warranty (which had run out at the time), so I was reimbursed for it. I had learned to make due without the iPod (i know this will seem trivial to some of the older members on here, and shocking to some of the younger ones), so once again receiving one made me experience the initial joy all over again.
anyways, compared to when i first bought it, the market for applications has grown substantially. My first purchase was the iEverton application, which claims to be the official everton application. It gives me access to team news, schedules, statistics, and my personal favourite, goal notifications and play-by-play commentary for games that I can't watch. I just bought this application yesterday, so I was wondering if anyone else has purchased this and if it really is all its cracked up to be. also, are their any other applications (preferably cheap ones) that a football fan would enjoy?
