They are a pain in the @rse. I bought the original, then in the space of a year we've had iPad2 and now ipad3...ffs......I should put this in the fuming thread........
 

I really hope that one day I have as much disposable income as you guys.

Because presumably, if you not only buy an iPad but also buy each subsequent iteration, you've got money to burn!
 
I'd really like an iPad but I can't afford one anyway, not with being a student/waiter. I couldn't really justify the price any way as I'd want to get the 64gb version.

It is new. Apple simply want to milk money off fanboys every 10 months or so.

If you have the iPad 2 and even consider buying the iPad 3, you'd have to be a bit of a whopper, as there will be no practical difference whatsoever.

Especially given that the iPad 4 will be out this time next year.

Seriously, has the iPad 2 really degraded that much in line with technology in 12 months to justify the iPad 3? Don't think so.
 

I wanted an iPad, but I reckon it's a waste of money, tbh.
I've got a reader, a laptop and a cell phone. What do I need an iPad for?
 
Like many, I've no need for a tablet, smart phone does me just fine and I prefer a keyboard and something with some umpf. If I ever need one (doubtful) I'll probably just get a cheapy like a Fire or something.

Seriously, I know a couple people who have iPads just to have them, and they use their notebooks even lounging on the couch. You gotta admire how Apple suddenly grabbed the populous by the balls really.

Let me just add, if I were to get one for free, I wouldn't say no.
My birthday is in a month, and I did get hints that I might get one :D so I'll just take it so that I can play the cool games on it lol
 
Mine got burgled from my house coupla weeks ago. And I know who done it but can't prove **** ffs.
