Cheers for that mate,

Im in Ireleand mate, its not out here untill the end of July but i was in NYC last week and had a play on one in the apple store its the sniz, its retailing over here high end about 300 euro on a plan and 650 prepay.

Ive been against touch screen phones for a while just because they seem a little camp, but my girlfriends on to me to give up my old Nokia.

I only tend to change my pohone once evey couple of years if even.

well, i don't buy it on contract, i bought it from Apple, £499 - and i'll sell it in 12 months, they hold their value massively. Got £360 for my iPhone 3GS and that meant this one obviously cost me just over a ton.

As for the iPad, I too am a Mac man through and through but I hear that the iPad can't multi-task - is that true?

I'll probably get on eventually when it's been de-glitched and improved in certain ways but for now I'm happy with my Mac Mini and my wife's MacBook.

Didn't want to start a new thread about these.

Anyway, does anyone have one of these? I'm contemplating a purchase. They do look cool!

Yay or nay?

Yes -wait for the second one (if you can/want) it's boss, 2nd will be better by all rumours/accounts!

I'm waiting for the Blackberry Playbook to come out. I own a Blackberry phone, so it will be easy for me to connect to the internet using Bluetooth at all times without a wifi signal. In addition, it will do so much more. Real multi-tasking, full browser experience (full flash support) front and rear facing cameras, usb support, easy I/O etc...The only downside is the screen will be smaller. Check out this comparison. http://blogs.blackberry.com/2010/11/blackberry-playbook-and-ipad-comparison-web-fidelity-video/
