Investment in Everton

Forget about it. We're poor and staying poor. Bill's ace though, because he's...erm...from Liverpool and not...erm...from Boston or somewhere.

Cheers Orville and Prof Peabody.

Maybe if we all stamp our feet, throw a tantrum and post nasty things about Kenwright on an Everton forum, someone will buy us, build us a new stadium and spend 200 million on players.

“We are involved in a lot of deals, which I think are going to happen. You do your best to check them out and make sure they have bona fides, and then when you ask politely to see some of the money and they disappear. It’s strange.”

And this fella is trying to sort us a deal??

I'm no ecomomist, but why would anyone who is not a 'die hard blue' invest any money in our club unless they wanted a serious return on their investment.

Aren't businesses supposed to make profit, expand, build bigger premises, become a bigger business.

Are we that poorly run that our Chairman has to come out with statements such as "we need a billionaire"...

Can he not devise a plan with the board, to raise money via good ideas?

Good ideas change history, a good idea here could change our future...

WTF?

eh?

The years of patronage are over.

We're in the gutter looking up at the stars; poor but honest; not Man United, but not Portsmouth.

Leave investment to Liverpool, City, Spurs, Villa. We dont want trophies. Winning trophies is [Poor language removed]. It demeans a football club.

Call the 25/8 search off Bill. Mid-table is fine. Just give us loads of Dave Hickson stories and relax,

I suppose a good question would be...

Has anyone ever built a new sustainable stadium with transport links (apparantly they are a problem) without the investment of black gold operatives???

If so, how??

Davek?

I heard you the first time. It wasn't funny on either occasion.

I am genuinely curious as to what Davek thinks the best course of action is for our club / stadium.

Theres clearly lots of brains on here, but we tend to get into 'blert alert mode' when discussing a difference of opinion.

one day he'll get back to me.

*sobs

Its at this point where I ask you to give us your views on what we should do. Normally you don't respond, OK, you don't have to Or you say "Me, I'm only a moaning fan" or you pick up on the lastest Keioc utterings (football quarter anyone?).

But I'd say one thing in your favour. If Bill is gong to talk about 3 people he's talking to about selling the club (or was it investment) he really needs to put a bit more meat on the bone. Obvously he can give names, but he can at least tell us if he's asked them about the money before he even sits down with them in a room, you know, if you've been burnt three times and all that.

Not being a Davek fan with his anti bill diatribes, but on this occasion, without that sort of information, Bill's pronouncements means next to nothing for me and only aids the cynics.

Bill seems to make thes pronouncements as a form of diversion, we never get to know any depth or outcome of any alleged talks . With his titbits of information he really does feed the conspiracy theories
