Internationals Before The Opening Day

Who on earth sets this schedule when surely the players need to be with their respective clubs for that first game and not to be risked of injury. yeah it never changes England play some Game just for the sake of it a few days before the prem season starts,we will then play about 4 premier league games then have a 2 week rest for another England game,like most will be hoping none off our players get injured no matter what the international team they are playing for that night.
