International womens day (today)

Does anyone else feel slightly put out by this?
The birds round my way are having a pudding and tequila night but, it annoys me that everyone gets their day apart from the working/middle class man.

Fair enough if we were in Iran or Pakistan where women don't have rights or eqaulity but this is 2013 Great Britain and we have women heads of state, chairman (women) of football clubs, MP's MEP's CEO's countless headteachers and councilors, former head of MI6,speaker of he house and prime minister of the country for 14 years.

Should I really feel guilty for being a white british man (this is not about race but representation).
