International Football

Just wondering what everyone's view on it are?

I personally think it's a dated and pointless exercise that put our small squad at risk and burns them out. I find our own national team to be a bit of a joke and point blank refuse to watch them, haven't seen them kick a ball in years now.

The new season is mere days away and several of our first teamers are playing pointless games around the globe, is that the best thing for them?

I would much prefer Internationals were retired and allow the focus to be on club football and give players the odd week off here and there to allow a little rest and keep them fit.

Went a bit crap for me when I started to not care about England in about 2006

Which makes World cups and that not as good. But you can't fake it mate.

I really like the international tournaments but don't really support anyone in them. Qualifying is just boring.

If England were as good as football as they are cricket and athletics, then they'd absolutely love internationals.
