International Football - Is it still relevant?

You cant scrap it but they should all play each other in may/june in their groups, have 3 weeks of football and be done with it, qualifying done and no friendlies. Then you could either have the season September to early may or August to April with a week or two break in the winter if they wanted.

This would be incredible, if qualifiers were just one big tournament as well. It would mean a lot of travelling in a short period of time but it would be amazing to watch (probably would bias results to the bigger nations with depth in their squad too.)
