Many cricket fans here?

Aussies wrapped up the Tri - Series in a close game. Gotta say it's been a good summer, however the way we are going you Poms will slaughter us.

I like me cricket lid, to be honest mate cant see you boys getting the earn back within the next two series

agreed, despite our dismal recent test series, its only because we have no clue how to play spin. Lets face it, i dont think dougherty or whoever is playing next time round will have the same impact on english pitches. Th elast ashes was brilliant, staying up throughout the night, absolutely loved it

this, were never gonna play an ashes series in sub continent conditions, and with the current depth of our seamers, I fancy us to keep the ashes for nearly a decade or so.

NZ v Saffas going on here at the moment, both teams 200 odd each on day 3 this morning, could be a major upset if NZ pull this one off. If the Saffas win the series 3 nil they go to number 1 in the rankings, so the English will be hoping we sneak a win in somewhere!

I think its going to be an interesting series though. We definitely aren't the dominant team we used to be...we got to beat the Windies first...if we cant do that I'll be fuming!

Moment of appreciation for Rahul Dravid. Fantastic player.

Is right. The Wall.

I would have had nightmares trying to get through that.

your lads getting wellied here longy lad

Just come back from watching it for 2 days Foxy, they got ****ing destroyed mate, too much pace from Steyn and swing from Phillander, great bowlers those two a pleasure to watch.

**** me NZ are crap at cricket right now. Good bowlers, terrible batters. When Vettori has to rescue the team batting at 6 you know you're pants.

Mark Ramprakash retires from cricket at the age of 42. Amazing record at county level, never really transpired to the test arena, but a wonderful career, especially for Surrey. Well played Mark.

agreed, think i saw him about 10 years ago against glamorgan and was thinking he was close to retirement then. Shame he never made it at test level.

also if you think NZ are bad, try following glamorgan, when a player the size of mark cosgrove opens the batting you just have to laugh. Love vettori too, always been one of my favourite players of all time
