Everton have conceded first in each of their last five league games but haven’t lost any of them (1W 4D) – this is the first time this has ever happened in the Premier League.
Very nice record. Shows the team's spirit!

After 782 Premier League games, Everton have a goal difference of +1 (993 goals scored, 992 conceded).

winning 1 and drawing 4 is only 7 points, same as 2 wins 1 draw and 2 defeats.

Shows how important it is to turn those draws into wins.

How about these for some Sunderland statistics:

13 shots on target ALL season.

4 of Adam Johnson's 41 crosses have found a team-mate, James McClean has completed 3 from 38. That's less than 10% accuracy between the two.

51% of all Sunderland shots have come from outside the box, the most in the league (Everton have had the least with 32% by the way)

They have a decent defence, but even that will surely break at some point? They are in trouble.

Only one stat I need to look at to tell me that Sunderland are dull, predictable and potentially facing a bottom-half struggle......they have the humungously over-rated Martin O'Neill at the helm. He's a shocker.

All the stats suggest we are going to waste them....but stats don't determine football matches.

They're due a beating with the way they've been playing, and with the way we've been playing it's about time we thrashed a team.

1-1 then.

These stats are starting to worry me actually. We normally screw things up when everything seems to be in our favour.

We'll end up hitting the woodwork 5 times, have 5 shots cleared off the line, miss a penalty, get a bunch of incorrect offside decisions against us which we scored from, have Fellaini'll sent off for winning a header, then they'll score a goal in injury time that shouldn't have been given because it didn't cross the line.

Its obvious, I'm resigned to it already. 0-1.

I heard on the radio today that we've had more shots on target than any other team in the top five European leagues
