I'd like to think (that by watching his performances for S.A & Tottenham) us Evertonians have had a reality check and realised he's been gash for about 18 months.

Scored against Man Utd and hit the bar against Villa in his last season for us, didn't feature in any of our wins until January...

Yes, he can zip the ball abouty nicely but are we really desperate to let somebody back here to play themselves into form before they go again?

to be honest and its all about opinions imo he was far from gash when arteta was out he was our only creative player and did the job quite well i would not mind him back at g p ,we cannot afford to be so choosey if he would come back on loan, but back to arteta he was poor for the last 12 months and needed a move i thought as much as i did not want him to go but i bet people would have him back ,

I know we can't afford to be choosey, I just wish we'd stop looking like that lad who's afraid to break up with his bird incase he can't find anything new, awful.

Pienaar's had to open a restaurant in Tottenham just to make ends meet

Wasn't he injured for a while?, i might be wrong but everton started to pick up results and win a few games and people was saying it was because of neville coming back from injury, it just so happened that peinaar come back as well.

That was the 09/10 season when he was fantastic.

He was in and out of the team with injuries for the first half of the 10/11 season, which meant he didn't play in our victories over Birmingham, Liverpool and City...most of the draws and losses where we tried to pass the ball into the net to no avail he seemed to be heavily involved in.

He then played in the win over Tottenham where he put in a nice showing for his new manager before telling us he "wasn't in the right mind to play" in the 2nd biggest fixture in our calendar.

I haven't seen him play anything close to how he did in 2009/10 for a long time and firmly believe that we're best off starting a fresh with someone else.

Couldn't bear to witness the "...well Everton has always been my home" PR bull**** that would no doubt follow either.
