Hi guys need a bit of advice.

Someone reversed in to my car on Friday, it was parked outside my office and she went straight into it. Not lots of damage but enough to warrant getting it repaired. Anyway- she was going to drive off but someone stopped her and came and told me.

Anyway- I got her address and mobile number and she gave me a print out of her insurance provider. I gave her my card and thought all good.

Anyway I try to call her to ask if she would like to get it repaired privately or to go through her insurance company because I got an estimate to get it fixed. Turns out the mobile number was incorrect- Ive found her address on line but no phone number.

I called her insurance company and they said they will look into it but that she hadnt reported it to them. I dont want to go through my insurance company and make a claim because I'll lose my no claims bonus of 14 years!

Not had to do this before but when I speak to her supposed insurance company again and if they say if she is legit or not should I call the police??

Ive only had the car three weeks and this has happened already!

Unfortunately not.

Like I said its not that much damage- but the estimate was £220 to get the small dent pulled out and respray the whole wing...

I think I will call the police- see what they say.

£220 is still £220!!

I'd be fuming. I mean you can kind of understand her trying to get away thinking no one else had seen her (wrong as it is) but after you'd been told and she'd been caught to then give you a fake number is just absolute ****house behaviour and she shouldnt be allowed to get away with it just because she's a woman. Ring the police. You've got witnesses. Then I'd press charges on her saying it's criminal damage and she knew what she was doing. That'll teach the bitch.

Haha- Ive given you two. One of which was a warning.

Im getting a rep on here as a git but just trying to keep this place a notch above kipper and the likes.

Just kidding mate. You do a sterling job.
