Never has the phrase

MURICA

been more fitting.

About a month ago I found myself watching a bit of that Greek at work, and inbetween letching at various actresses playing sororiety girls thought the whole notion of it was ludicrous... then I read this letter and realised it might actually be quite accurate.

Ever see Animal House?

No mate, thanks for that!

c'mon Bry. Really?

No Fawn Leibowitz? No Neidermeyer's horse? No Mrs. Dean Woermer? No Germans bombing Pearl Harbor? (sorry, Harbour?)

How can you form a world view without an endless series of Animal House references to drop into every day's affairs? I find this inconceivable. No Otis Day and the Knights? Really?

Yer havin us, lad. Here is an example of "post-game activity" circa 1966, as depicted in said film. The part where they all drop to the floor and start shaking was called the "po-do" down South. Don't ask how I know that - I was supposedly too young to ever participate in anything like this. (but not to be in a horn section)

It is. Not 100% but it is.
