Ok so for you non-Americano types, this has been spreading like wildfire over here. Honestly it's probably made my week. This is in fact a real email. Spike goes to Uni here actually, although he doesn't know this girl since he's just a freshman.
Anyway, if you're unfamiliar with the Greek system (not sure if this is just a US thing), Fraternitys and Sororities all have Greek names (in this case the sorority is Delta Gamma) and they act as social institutions. You "pledge" and they vote you in or out. Once your in there's all sorts of social activities and you all live in a huge mansion like thing together and blah blah. Personally I can't stand them (and you'll see why in a moment).
so that's a long intro into one of the funniest series of events ever. First read the letter here: http://gawker.com/5994974/the-most-deranged-sorority-girl-email-you-will-ever-read
That was great enough. Especially for the term "[Poor language removed] punt". That will live with me forever.
But then it gets better. Michael Shannon, who plays Federal Prohibition agent Nelson Van Alden in Boardwalk Empire did a dramatic reading of the letter on Funny or Die and took it to new levels of greatness here:
Enjoy. Trust me this is worth your attention.
