I'm a great fan of Kenny , and even more so Connolly , but there's no way they'd have been in the the squad for Stoke with only 2 games, in four days, under their belt. Though as you say getting injured so soon into their comeback is odd, and the thinking is that this is more likely precautionary , pulling them out of the Brazil came early rather than risk too many games in a short period of time rather than specific injuries that they have.
