Still have a stud mark on my shin bone 20 years after some joker shattered my shin pads to two foot me.

got two perma bone-dislocations in me fingers due to punching people in the forehead (my aim wasn't always the best). my nose-airways are perma squashed due to receiving similar hits in kind.

haven't punched or been punched in abt 15 years now...long may it continue!

Got knocked off my push bike when I was 19 cycling to work. Driver came straight through a yield junction without looking and hit me side on. I was a bit stunned but felt ok.

I dusted myself down and went over to the driver side of the car to give them an earful. As I was giving out about "did you not f#cking see me" etc I noticed her recoil in horror...then I saw my reflection in her window....I could see a rather big circular dark shadow on my neck.

During the fall I must've bounced off the twisted handlebars and one of the brakes had taken a chunk of flesh from an area around my throat. Amazingly there was little or no blood flowing...a clean extraction. I remember hearing the surgeons in the hospital later marveling how the protruding vein was exposed but not severed. I was like: "lads I don't wanna know, just sew it up!"

Still have a scar today 20 years later but it's fading slowly...

Top edged a pull shot into my face a fractured a cheekbone. Then had to explain cricket to an Egyptian doctor in A&E.

“So someone throws a solid wooden ball at you at 149kph and you try to hit it with a 10cm wide bit of wood”

“It sounds a remarkably stupid game to me” was his comment

A few but nothing major.

Broken nose 7 times. Fortunately the last one straightened it back somewhat, allowing me to breath through both nostrils.

Fractured cheekbone with huge gash under my left eye. I was told my eye was hanging out by those that saw it. I wondered why I could see ahead and the floor at the same time!

Broken thumb, middle finger and little finger on right hand. Broken thumb on left hand. All individual occurrences. A bit of rheumatism setting in now from the middle finger break.

Fractured vertebra and broken coccyx. My coccyx has never re-fused so it rubs bone against bone all the time. That can get quite sore at times.

Torn meniscus, snapped anterior cruciate and ruptured medial in right knee.

Torn ligaments in both ankles.

Besides that, I'm a picture of health.

About 20 years ago I was stupid enough to let the wife get a rabbit (the animal, not the Ann Summers one lol).
One day I'm up stairs in the bedroom and I hear an almighty scream of ROOOOOOBBBBBBBBB so I go hurtling downstairs and slip but manage to grab the banister to stop my fall.
I get to the bottom of the stairs and my wife just stares at me speechless.
The pain hadn't hit me yet but my shoulder had dislocated and was sticking out of my chest. 30 seconds later the pain kicked in. Oh my God the pain. Easily 100 times more pain than anything I've felt ever. Got to be up there with childbirth.
The relevance of the rabbit, it had hopped in to the house and jumped on the sofa causing my wife to shout me.
She's been my ex-wife for 19 years.

Mate, if you were a horse, you’d have been put down years ago! ;)

i had a very vivid dream about just that situation, even with the two viewing angles...the dream was years ago but still remember it clearly. bonkers stuff.

if you also associate a distracted woman washing dishes with that situation then we're in proper spooky territory lol
