wrong putting a young kid through that, its more than a practical joke that we have all been the wrong end of in work, hope they get done, saying that i have been involved in a few that went over the top looking back, one fella , I wired a fella up to a load of industrial batterys as he was working under a car, didnt notice a thing till i switched them on, must admit the smoke and sparks and him blubbering were a bit more than i expected, but his was a creeping sod, redneck and a bouncer so need taking down a peg or two, give him his due he didnt grass and settled down on the creeping .

When i was an apprentice, all the fella's wanted to get me on my 18th and handcuff me to a bench, strip me naked and use engineer blue to paint my balls. I slipped off early that day as i had been informed of their plans.

One step ahead of the losers i was. But our year of apprentices were brutal, the amount of practical jokes was fantastic and i was the main protagonist of it all.

I think you'll find digits up the kwik-fit fitter as an 'initiation' is more than common across the upper classes, especially at boarding school.

I wouldn't know. I don't think I know anyone who even went to boarding school.

Remember an incident years back, Cork i think, where a young lad had a compressed air pipe shoved up his jack and died as a result. The two pricks that did it only got three years for it.
